YFDN Supports Youth Through Sport and the Arts in Jamaica
For over 15 years, Youth-For-Development Network (YFDN) has been transforming the lives of vulnerable youth across Jamaica—using the power of sport and the arts to unlock potential and expand opportunity.
Through life skills training, job readiness programs, and entrepreneurial support, YFDN has reached more than 9,000 young people and trained over 1,000 adults across nine parishes. Their work goes beyond skills development—creating safe, supportive spaces where young people build confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose.
YFDN also responds to urgent community needs. Following Hurricane Melissa, the organization supported youth, women, and local entrepreneurs in Hanover on their road to recovery, demonstrating the strength of their community-centered approach.
Support their mission to empower the next generation, strengthen communities, and create lasting change across Jamaica through their American Friends Fund at Myriad USA.
