KBFUS has rebranded itself as Myriad USA and now offers a single solution to donors seeking to support nonprofit initiatives around the world. Give2Asia maintains its brand and refocuses its work on expanding its philanthropic services for China, where it continues to serve as the market leader. No, Myriad USA is not a new entity – it is simply a name change for KBFUS. Our IRS registration and Employer Identification Number (EIN) remain the same.
Myriad USA harnesses the complementary capabilities and expertise of KBFUS and Give2Asia, which in the past three years have facilitated a combined $400 million in grants to foreign nonprofits. It also brings together the teams of the two longtime partners (see https://myriadusa.org/about/people/), and inherits the mission they share: to help strengthen institutions, empower communities, and improve the lives of people around the world.
Myriad USA is a member of Myriad, the Alliance for Borderless Giving. The Alliance brings together a network of like-minded members who encourage, stimulate, and facilitate cross-border giving, each in the country or region where they are based. For more information, see https://myriad.org.

You can donate to a fund in different ways: by credit card, check or wire transfer, or you can contribute appreciated assets like stocks or bonds, even cryptocurrencies. Since Myriad USA is a public charity, within the meaning of Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC), donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by U.S. tax law for their contributions.

No, Myriad USA does not accept unsolicited grant proposals.

Myriad USA does not fundraise on behalf of its nonprofit partners, nor do we introduce them to donors, except in cases where both the nonprofit and the donor express interest in such an introduction.

Grant Portal & Fund Portal
Yes, you can see the donations that your fund has received. Use the login details sent in the email announcing the opening of your fund to access the online portal at https://kbfus.fcsuite.com/erp/fundmanager/list. If you no longer have login details, email info@myriadusa.org for assistance.
An organization that meets either of the two following criteria may submit a grant request: (1) the organization has an American Friends Fund with a balance of at least $5,000, or (2) the organization received an announcement from Myriad USA inviting it to submit a grant request. Grant requests can be submitted at https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=myriadusa.
Go to https://www.every.org/myriadusa. Once you’re an admin for your donation page, you will see a building icon in the top navigation header which you can use to access the Admin Dashboard. From the Admin Dashboard, click on the “Profile” tab to make changes to your donation page.
Donor Advised Funds

Myriad USA can receive gifts by check, credit card or wire transfer, and also gifts of appreciated assets such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate and other types of property – even cryptocurrencies. See our ‘ways to give’ webpage at https://myriadusa.org/waystogive/ for more details.
Send an email to your contact person at Myriad USA with the name of the suggested grantee organization, their contact information (if you have that – if not, we’ll find our way), and the recommended grant amount. If you are not sure who your contact person is, email us at info@myriadusa.org or call +1 (212) 713 7660.
Myriad USA vets all of its grantees and nonprofit partners using a due diligence questionnaire. Reputational checks are carried out through our networks of local partners and consultants. In addition, the names of trustees, directors and key employees of grantees are checked against the lists of individuals and organizations identified by the U.S. government and the United Nations as associated with terrorism.
All completed grant request applications are reviewed by our team and then approved by our Grants Committee. It usually takes between two and four weeks between your recommendations for grant distributions and receipt of the wire transfer into the organization’s bank account.
American Friends Funds
A fiscal sponsor is an existing 501(c)(3) public charity which accepts to receive funds on behalf of another organization, usually through some kind of formal agreement. Myriad USA calls its fiscal sponsorship solution an ‘American Friends Fund’.

Opening an American friends fund at Myriad USA is simple and straightforward. The first step to open a fund is to complete our online application form, providing us with information about your organization, its mission, programs and funding sources. Based on this information, we will determine if your organization is the equivalent of a charity, within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, and if its activities are consistent with our charitable purposes. Once your application has been approved, we will sign an agreement establishing your American Friends Fund. All of this can be done in a matter of 2-3 weeks.

Log into https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=myriadusa. Enter access code: friends. Click Copy Previous Answers. Make sure to update the information we have on file for you, including annual reports and audited financials, and add a description of the project to be supported with the grant.
