Engaging Donors Through Events – In-Person & Virtually
June 2, 2022 | 10:00 am EST
Special events are a critical tool for nonprofits – helping them build awareness, strengthen relationships, and raise funds. They are especially central to major gift fundraising, providing avenues to connect with high-value donors and deepen partnerships over time. While historically events have been a valuable in-person engagement channel, throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, nonprofits were forced to re-evaluate their strategies and bring these experiences online. The result has been an expansion of the fundraising toolbox, with a mix of in-person and virtual events being the norm for organizations going forward.
Michel Picaud, President of Friends of Notre-Dame de Paris, led his organization successfully through a transition from in-person to virtual events, with the support of Faircom New York and Account Director Flavia Alimonti. We invite you to join them for a discussion of how to build a thoughtful, robust events agenda that includes a mix of channels that allow you to engage a broader range of donors for lasting relationships and fundraising success, with a special focus on major gift donors and prospects. Through this session, you will gain insight to help you determine the best mix of events for your organization, as well as valuable tools to help carry those events from start to finish.
