Mavuno ignites development in DR Congo

Based in Beni in eastern DR Congo, Mavuno transforms local smallholder farmers into ‘agripreneurs’, through training programs in improved and sustainable agricultural techniques. Its American Friends Fund made a $50,000 grant to help build the Mavuno Agriculture College, which will educate youth, preventing them from joining militias, and contribute to the economic development of the region.
