December 7, 2021
Heart rhythm diseases are responsible for 20% of strokes worldwide. In the U.S. alone, they cause 325,000 sudden cardiac deaths annually. The Liryc Foundation, a research program at Bordeaux University in France, brings together experts from around the globe to study, diagnose and treat cardiac electrical disorders. A $156,400 grant from its Friends of the Liryc Foundation will support research and improve treatments.
