Instituto Terra restores the Brazilian Atlantic Forest

Instituto Terra (Brazil) promotes the restoration and preservation of forests, environmental education, and correct use of natural resources. Since its founding in 1998, the organization has recovered over 600 hectares of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest. Its American Friends Funddisbursed $50,000 to support its efforts to introduce agroforestry to form a sustainable and economically viable system in Rio Dolce Valley, Brazil.
