France’s Institut Imagine focuses on rare diseases

It is estimated that there are over 7,000 genetic diseases, most of which are chronic and life-threatening. France’s Institut Imagine brings together 1,000 of the best physicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to accelerate research on rare diseases. A $52,250 grant from the American Friends of Institut Imagine will help provide innovative medical treatments for children and advance neurosurgery research.
