Influenced by Venetian and Ottoman architecture, the Sursock Museum is the first contemporary art institution in Lebanon. With a collection ranging from Islamic and Ottoman art to Lebanese artists from the 1800s to the 2000s, the museum is a platform for debate, critical thinking, learning and unlearning. The museum received $50,000 through its Friends Fund.
