Fighting growing food insecurity in Belgium

The Belgian Federation of Food Banks represents 9 provincial food banks and 654 affiliated distribution points. Relying almost entirely on volunteers and donations, they provided more than 22,229 tons of food to approximately 178,000 beneficiaries in 2021. They will use a $20,000 gift from the Owens Corning Foundation to support the growing number of people in need across Belgium.
