Empowering deaf people in Kenya

The Deaf Empowerment Society of Kenya (DESK) fights discrimination against deaf and hard of hearing people and increases their access to economic resources through education, community leadership, and entrepreneurship training. DESK has empowered over 30,000 individuals so far, improving their quality of life and ability to participate in society. Support its work through its newly opened American Friends Fund.
