Cameroon’s EDGF empowers displaced women

Enterprise Development & Governance Facility (EDGF), a community-based organization located in the northwest region of Cameroon, provides specialized short and long term technical development assistance to poor communities. Its American Friends of the EDGF made a grant of $11,400 to train, coach, supervise and mentor 50 internally displaced women hawkers from crisis-stricken villages, and help them establish micro-businesses.
