BarefootLaw’s long walk to justice in Uganda

Using technology and other innovative approaches, BarefootLaw provides free legal information to the poorest, most marginalized Ugandans, who face systemic disadvantages in accessing  justice. In Uganda, most disputes relate to land, property and family-related matters. The Friends of BarefootLaw disbursed $50,000 for their outreach to vulnerable Ugandans, so that they can uphold the law and protect themselves, their families and communities.
