Advancing disability inclusion in Guatemala

For over thirty years, Guatemala’s Asociación de Capacitación y Asistencia Técnica en Educación y Discapacidad (ASCATED) has been working to improve the quality of life of individuals with disabilities. A $38,950 grant from its Friends Fund will enable the organization to enhance the educational capabilities of children and youth with vision and hearing impairments and promote their participation in society.
