Museo Poldi Pezzoli: A Living Home of Italy’s Masterpieces

August 7, 2026

Since opening its doors in 1881 in the heart of Milan, the Museo Poldi Pezzoli has been preserving and sharing some of Italy’s most treasured artistic and cultural heritage.

Housed in the former residence of renowned collector Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli, the museum offers a uniquely immersive experience where visitors can explore more than 6,000 works, from Renaissance masterpieces by Botticelli, Bellini, and Piero della Francesca to armor, jewelry, clocks, porcelain, and decorative arts.

The museum is renowned not only for its extraordinary collections, but also for its commitment to conservation, education, and international partnerships that help bring cultural heritage to life for new generations.

Support its continued development through its American Friends Fund at Myriad USA and help safeguard irreplaceable works of art.
