TCC’s Vision for a Connected Conservation Future in South Africa
Wildlife conservation depends on more than protecting animals. It requires connecting people, science, and action.
The Conservation Coalition (TCC) is doing exactly that across South Africa. Born from the powerful storytelling legacy of Painteddog.tv, TCC funds critical conservation efforts, from rhino protection and pangolin rehabilitation to conservation of wild dogs and cheetahs.
In partnership with the University of Mpumalanga, a leading institution for conservation and biodiversity research in South Africa, the organization is leading groundbreaking research to determine whether a wildlife corridor can reconnect landscapes between Greater Kruger and the Drakensberg escarpment. This will create safer pathways for wildlife, strengthen genetic diversity, and reduce human-wildlife conflict to protect some of Africa’s most iconic predators.
