Fondation des États-Unis Supports A Statue for Liberty, An Immersive Virtual Reality Experience
Founded in 1930 at the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris, the Fondation des États-Unis (FEU) fosters Franco-American exchange and cooperation through culture, stewardship, and scholarship. Through concerts, exhibitions, talks, and residencies, the FEU creates daily opportunities for dialogue and collaboration between French and American communities.
The FEU is supporting A Statue for Liberty, an immersive virtual reality initiative premiering at the Musée d’Orsay (Paris) and the Museum of Jewish Heritage (NYC) in Fall 2026. In partnership with GEDEON Media Group, and in collaboration with partners such as America250, PBS, and ARTE, this project celebrates the 140th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty and the 250th anniversary of the United States, bringing to life the shared Franco-American story of liberty, friendship, and creativity.
Beyond its artistic and technological ambition, this initiative honors our shared legacy and reminds us of the importance of standing united. Learn more and support this initiative through their American Friends Fund.
