$50K to preserve Africa’s biodiversity

Founded in 1973, the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) works to conserve threatened species and ecosystems in East and Southern Africa. EWT supports biodiversity, promotes the sustainable use of natural resources, and implements conservation research programs. Its Endangered Wildlife Trust Friends made a $50,398 grant to help protect threatened animals, plants, and culturally important sites in the Soutpansberg Mountains of South Africa.
