$116K for youth empowerment in the DRC

En Avant les Enfants promotes the development of youth and citizenship through sports and high-level academic achievement in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Its American Friends Fund disbursed $116,000 to support its flagship program – Promo Jeune Basket, a basketball academy seeking to advance educational opportunities for the country’s youth. More than 1,250 children are enrolled in the integrated life-skills program.
