$143K to preserve ice memory

Faced with the irreversible melting of glaciers, the Ice Memory Foundation (France) collects ice cores from endangered glaciers around the world. Safeguarded in a sanctuary in Antarctica, the ice cores will enable scientists to contribute to informed decision-making on climate change adaptation. Their US Fund granted $143,509 to support their work.
